We only do 3 types of Forklift Truck training in our dedicated training centre, These are, counterbalance, Reach Truck, and Pivot Steer (Bendi truck).
For more job-specific types of vehicle training, we can deliver the training on customer premises where they already have the truck types they require staff to be trained on.
A conference room or training room will be required for teaching the theory, showing PowerPoints and Videos, with question and answer discussions.
Also, ensuring that the vehicle type for the training is available plus a training area in the warehouse to be available for the practical section.
The training will include break and lunch times.
The instructor will usually start by making the trainees comfortable and asking if they have any questions about the training. The main purpose is to make them feel relaxed and comfortable they will then go through the theory side of the training using PowerPoints, Videos, discussion, anecdotes, etc.
Mid-morning we will have a tea break before continuing the theory side of the training using more PowerPoints, Videos, discussions, anecdotes, etc. before we break for lunch.
After lunch, we recap on the theory and knowledge assessments gained and then it is onto the practical elements of the training in the warehouse driving the truck.
And finally, we ask each trainee to fill in an end-of-course questionnaire on their experience with us
