We are recruiting for a Forklift MHE  (Material Handling Equipment) Instructor to join our team as a self-employed professional. 

In this role, you will deliver comprehensive forklift operation training to companies in our training facility in Featherstone, West Yorkshire, and at customer premises around the Yorkshire area.  We require the individual to be an RTITBregistered instructor and must have their own transport which they are willing to use for work purposes to drive to customer premises and deliver training.

• Develop engaging lesson plans and practical training modules for forklift operation based on industry standards and safety regulations adhering to RTITB regulations.
• Conduct hands-on training sessions with learners, demonstrating correct forklift handling, safety procedures, and operational techniques
• Assess learner performance through practical evaluations and provide constructive feedback to promote continuous improvement
• Maintain accurate training records, including attendance, assessment results, and certification documentation
• Communicate effectively with learners of diverse backgrounds, ensuring clarity of instructions and fostering a positive learning environment
• Stay updated on the latest MHE safety standards, industry best practices, and relevant IT tools used for training delivery
• Organise training schedules that accommodate various learner needs while maintaining high standards of professionalism and safety

• Have their own transport
• RTITB registered instructor
• Proven experience in teaching or instructing forklift operation / related MHE equipment
• Knowledge of IT tools used for training delivery, record-keeping, and learner assessments
• Exceptional communication skills to engage learners effectively and address their individual needs
• Ability to work independently as a self-employed instructor while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism
